I've been looking around for consumer electronics to give my friends and family members this holiday season and my mind has been boggled by all the new consumer electronics on the market that do so many things. The size of the MP3 players and MP4 players hasn't changed too much, but their functionality has. They are now mini home theaters that weigh just ounces but have huge memory cards, play movies, podcasts, and music. The prices certainly are reasonable, too, so I've been seriously considering buying everyone I give presents to one of the new MP3 or MP4 players. Everyone I know has a computer, but I doubt if they have the most up to date consumer electronics for portable entertainment. Everyone I know likes movies and music, so this might be the "one size fits all" gift I give. The prices online are excellent and it is so fast and easy to buy things online and have them delivered right to the door. It would sure take the headache out of Christmas shopping in local stores. Wrapping them would be so easy, too, since they'd all the the same size.<img src="http://admin.moguling.com/controls/oboutSuite/Editor/Editor_data/ed_icons/emoticons/hot.gif" / alt="consumer electronics">

I can still remember when the VHS video recorder was considered the next big thing and not everybody had a CD player. Now consumer electronics include high definition DVD players, MP4 players with endless storage capacity, LCD flat screen TVs as big as a cinema screen, seventh generation gaming consoles and cellular phones that are really computers that can fit into the palm of your hand. If you could take a person from thirty years in the past and transplant them directly into the future just to show them modern consumer electronics they would think that they were looking at something from a science fiction movie.
What I wonder is what the consumer electronics of tomorrow are going to look like. The technology that exists today is already incredible, so what is next? I would love to be able to see what will be available to us thirty years into the future when my step-grandkids have children of their own. Unfortunately we are not yet so technologically advanced that time machines exist so I guess I will have to wait a while to find out what consumer electronics we will all be using by then.

I also added a couple of cars that I had not even thought of. My husband insisted we look at reviews for all the cars currently available. I am glad he did. I am actually leaning toward a car I had not paid any attention to before. It did not fit my idea of a sporty but useful car. It actually was better in the performance, storage and maintenance than any of the other cars I was looking into. It is a surprising good little car. I would never have found it if I had not looked over the reports.

Why Polite Consumer Complaints Are A Positive Thing

http://www.consumerelectronics360.com/2009/August/Why-Polite-Consumer-Complaints-Are-A-Positive-Thing.htm

<img title="Consumer Complaints" height="300" alt="consumer complaints" Complaints" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/Talking Head.jpg" width="260" border="0" />There are sometimes valid reasons to make consumer complaints. If I am not happy with a product or service then I feel obliged to tell the company that manufactured the device or provided the service why I am not content. I actually think that reputable companies value consumer complaints because they help them to improve their product or service. Human beings learn from their errors and the same principal applies to companies and corporations. That is why I believe that consumer complaints should be given politely and constructively. If I am not happy with something then when I give my criticism I know I stand a better chance of being heard if I state my complaint fairly without being rude. I know this because if someone criticized my work I would be more likely to listen if they did it fairly without being aggressive. I genuinely believe that valid and polite consumer complaints are a very good thing. If we speak up when we are not happy about something this will improve the products and services we receive in the future and make life easier and more convenient for all of us.

<img title="" alt="consumer electronics, consumer electronics show" electronics, consumer electronics show" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/mp3_player_2.jpg" />
Even though some aspects of the economy are getting more expensive, such as food prices or college tuition, in other ways, consumer goods such as consumer electronics are getting cheaper, smaller, and in every way, more affordable. The great thing is, you don't have to go to a consumer electronics show in order to get good deals on things like cell phones, PDAs, cameras, MP3 players and notebook computers. If you just do your research, you can find stores and websites where you can purchase wholesale consumer electronics and get some amazing bargains. Also, in most major cities there will be wholesale consumer electronics shows in convention centers and the like where you can get consumer electronics at rock bottom prices. The bargains are out there, but you have to be willing to devote the time and energy to go after them, either online or in the brick and mortar world. Because of the combination of online shopping, advances in technology, and the desperation of retailers to sell their wares, there's rarely been a better time to go shopping for the small, portable electronic gizmos that we all want to own. In fact, I'd urge anyone reading this to go out and buy those electronic devices now before prices start to inch back up.

It is an exceptional gas saver, boasting 50 miles to the gallon, reasonably priced at 30,000 dollars fully loaded and looking better then past generations. As you see in the picture above the general shape is still the same but the there has been a face lift to smooth out the first impression of passers-by. No matter where you get your car reviews from, they will all say the same thing about the 2010 Prius and that is the overall feel and design has improved from years past. If you own an older Prius or liked what they had to offer then you will love this one.

The interior is sparse and conservative with a center mounted gauge cluster resembling something out of the Star Trek Enterprise. While Toyota says it gets 50 MPG the official car reviews EPA numbers have not been released yet. The power comes from a 1.8-liter Atkinson four cylinder giving it more giddy-up then previous generations. For a third generation vehicle, the 10’ Prius will top the list of hybrid car reviews for people interested in saving money at the pump.

http://www.consumerelectronics360.com/2009/April/Car-Reviews-Useful-When-Deciding-Whether-or-Not-to-Buy-a-Vehicle.htm

<img title="car reviews" height="82" alt="car reviews" reviews" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/carssss.jpg" width="143" border="0" />I've been reading car reviews because I might be needing a different car soon. From what I've read so far, it might be smarter for me to put more money into my car rather than buying a different one. I am not a car kind of person, and the only thin I really care about is the mileage. My car gets 35 in town and 50 on the highway, and to get that mileage, I'd have to buy a hybrid, which my car is not. Most cars are getting less than 35 on the highway, according to the car reviews. The only things my car needs is a new paint job and hubcap covers, and I guess that is a whole lot cheaper than a new car.

Reading car reviews has been really educational for me. It's amazing how cars are built these days to last so long. Aside from the union problems, it's no wonder Detroit is going out of business. The cars last a long time, they are expensive to buy, and the fuel economy is nothing to write home about.

If my husband and I purchased our cars in that way I would now have a VW Beetle, but I don’t. Although I love the way the VW Beetle looks because it is small and cute, it would not be the most practical choice for me. My husband and I require a vehicle that has sufficient space yet gets good gas mileage.
The best way to choose a vehicle is to read car reviews. By reading car reviews you can find the vehicle that best suits your needs and personal circumstances. You can also choose something that is recommended by people who have expert knowledge of the auto industry and find out about all of the pros and cons of a vehicle before deciding on a purchase.
My husband and I have been reading car reviews online over the past month or so. Our Doge Caliber is almost three years old now and is reaching the end of its warranty so we are looking to replace it with a newer vehicle. Having read numerous car reviews we are thinking that the right vehicle for our needs is the 2009 Jeep Patriot. We like this vehicle because it has plenty of room, drives well, is economically priced and has an average gas mileage comparable with that of our Dodge Caliber.

Today consumer electronics are a huge industry numbering in the tens of billions of dollars in transactions per year in the US alone. We are obsessed with electronics today, and it seems that a new gadget or accessory to our gadgets is coming out nearly every day with the rate things are going. Nowadays you not only have your useful tools that you rely on, but accessories that seem to be just as important because, in the end, everyone wants to be unique and have their own "setup" of a home entertainment system, work home office or whatever other consumer electronics products we utilize in our lives.

So with all of that, where do you shop for good deals on consumer electronics? Sure you could check out NewEgg or Fry's for good old deals, but honestly your best bet is to do more research and find the items that have been returned because of a broken screen or other minor offense and learn to rebuild them. eBay and Craigslist are great for those kinds of things. Often you can get thousand dollar laptops for just pennies on the dollar because the person was too lazy to fix the screen.

The 2009 Consumer Electronics Show is going to be held in several large conference centers in Las Vegas hotels and the Las Vegas Conference Center, and there will be 2,700 exhibits. Bring comfortable shoes and warm clothing. The winter evenings in Las Vegas can be chilly, while the daytimes can be quite comfortable outdoors.

The consumer electronics that will be shown should be well worth the visit. If you have a company that sells consumer electronics, this would be a great event to attend to see what is going to be on the market next year, and what the next hit products will be.

Unfortunately, this show is not open to the public. To attend, people have to be in the consumer electronics business and over the age of 16. However, all you need to get into the show is your registration fee ($100), a business card showing your company's name and products, and a photo ID.

<img title="Car Reviews" alt="car reviews" Reviews" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/2009-Chevrolet-Cobalt.jpg" />Car dealers like General Motors are struggling to stay solvent during these troubling economic times. Americans are not buying as many new cars as they would normally because they are trying to conserve their cash and protect themselves from financial ruin. Consequently car dealers are doing all they can to persuade consumers to buy a new car. They offer incentives such as free oil changes, rebates and discount financing. Many will even pay off the entire cost still owing on your old vehicle.
If you needed a new vehicle these extra added incentives could clearly be very persuasive, which is why reading car reviews is now more important than ever before. Honest car reviews will list all of the advantages and disadvantages of any vehicle you are considering purchasing. By reading these car reviews you will be in a much better position to make an informed decision without falling for the persuasive chatter of the sales person at the car lot. You will find countless car reviews on the web, so make sure you read more than one since opinions are bound to vary somewhat.

<img title="consumer complaints" alt="consumer complaints, consumer electronics" complaints" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/5.jpg" />If you are planning on buying a big ticket consumer electronics product soon, get online and read the consumer complaints about the product that you are considering. Sometimes word of mouth can make or break a product, and before you set out to spend a lot of money on something, reading the opinions of others on the product you want will let you know whether or not to buy it. Just as with cars, sometimes there are lemons, so if there are only one or two complaints, you might be OK buying what you are researching.

Not only will you read about the product's reliability, you will also read consumer complaints or praises about their customer service. Sometimes customer service can be a really important aspect of your purchase. Getting a hold of a real human being when you have questions or problems can be a hassle. The customer service representatives can make life good or bad. Use consumer complaints to establish how responsible the company is toward its customers. Some companies are great-others are hopeless. You'll certainly get an earful on some appliances or electronics when you read the reviews.

<img title="Consumer Complaints" alt="consumer complaints, consumer electronics" Complaints" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/Consumer Complaints.jpg" />To my way of thinking, everybody has the right to object if they are dissatisfied with a product or service that they have purchased. We work hard for our money and therefore we have every right to expect good value, especially when it comes to big ticket items such as vehicles or consumer electronics. The best course of action is to make a consumer complaint about any product or service that isn’t up to standard. Consumer complaints usually take the form of phone calls, emails or letters.
When making consumer complaints via pone call the most important thing to remember is to keep control of your emotions. While it is true that you have every right to be angry, shouting and screaming will get you nowhere fast. Working in customer service is much more difficult than many people think. Consider that the person you are berating is probably paid a measly seven dollars an hour to let angry customers shout at them all day. Therefore you are much more likely to get a favorable result if you treat them with some respect.
When you are making consumer complaints via letter or email the same rules apply. Rude angry missives are not pleasant to read. You are more likely to get a refund or replacement if you state your case clearly and civilly without ibeing insulting. If you can’t express your disapproval regarding a product or service without resorting to bad manners, wait until you have calmed down.

<img title="car reviews" alt="car reviews, consumer complaints" reviews" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/4QCAPF8FDNCA67K1O3CA264HFQCAVJM04SCAY5U6C5CAV3DXQCCAMYXX6NCAQBV1SWCA003VY0CA2TOZRNCAP65X5UCAHZ86LPCAMTSWN8CAHXQBYYCAGDGQESCAUJTJAZCA8XG7PACABEM7JOCABY7FHX.jpg" />Before you buy a new car, it really helps to read car reviews. It is so easy to read these car reviews on the Internet. Before the magic of the Internet, we had to rely on word of mouth or magazines like Consumer Reports to see objective reviews of cars. Now anyone who has a computer at home or can get to a public library for Internet access can access car reviews from hundreds of professionals and actual car owners. You can find consumer complaints about cars on these sites, as well as remarkable testimonials about how well people like their cars.

Buying a new car without reviewing what is known about its performance is taking things on lots of faith. There is a whole industry based on reviewing new car models, and while it's not a large industry, it certainly is important. These industry critics follow automobile models and they spend a lot of time reviewing the integrity of the parts that new cars use to predict their reliability. So if you have to buy a new car soon, make sure you check out the online reviews.

Where do you take your consumer complaints?

http://www.consumerelectronics360.com/2008/August/Where-do-you-take-your-consumer-complaints.htm

<img title="complaints" alt="consumer complaints" complaints" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/consumerelectronics360.com/complaints.jpg" /> Not so many years ago, most any store you shopped at had a consumer complaints office or department so it was relatively easy to register any consumer complaints you might have. Times have changed. Now you cannot find these consumer complaints departments in most stores so where do you go to get help resolving or filing consumer complaints? Try the Better Business Bureau as a first option and if you do not get any satisfaction this way you can always contact your state's Attorney General to file consumer complaints. The sad fact is that in today's economy and marketplace many business owners do not want to deal with an unsatisfied consumer so you have to take matters into your own hands and use the legal options available to you. This includes any issue you feel you have been misled on concerning not only the purchase of physical products but also applies to contracted services and investments made on the Internet. There is help available to resolve your consumer complaints if you just know where and who to contact.

iMac Breeze

http://www.consumerelectronics360.com/2008/August/iMac-Breeze.htm

In the latest iMac line, released in August, consists of two 20-inch models and the $2,400, 24-inch model. The previous model's white plastic design has been replaced with a glass screen surrounded by anodized aluminum and black plastic trim. There is a downside with redesign: The tiny iMac remote, which can be used to control music and video playback, can no longer be magnetically attached to the side of the screen—making it easier to misplace or lose when not in use.

As we know, setting up the iMac is mostly a trouble-free affair. For several users, it's as easy as plugging in the power cable, the mouse, and a redesigned, wafer-thin keyboard. The setup is slightly more complicated, but still relatively easy, for those wanting to connect to the Internet using the built-in Wi-Fi transmitter, it is compatible with speedier 802.11n wireless routers in addition to older "b" and "g" Wi-Fi versions.

Here is a review from C/net:
