The 2010 Toyota Prius is many things. It is an exceptional gas saver, boasting 50 miles to the gallon, reasonably priced at 30,000 dollars fully loaded and looking better then past generations. As you see in the picture above the general shape is still the same but the there has been a face lift to smooth out the first impression of passers-by. No matter where you get your car reviews from, they will all say the same thing about the 2010 Prius and that is the overall feel and design has improved from years past. If you own an older Prius or liked what they had to offer then you will love this one.
The interior is sparse and conservative with a center mounted gauge cluster resembling something out of the Star Trek Enterprise. While Toyota says it gets 50 MPG the official car reviews EPA numbers have not been released yet. The power comes from a 1.8-liter Atkinson four cylinder giving it more giddy-up then previous generations. For a third generation vehicle, the 10’ Prius will top the list of hybrid car reviews for people interested in saving money at the pump.
