Many car reviews are available for the Hummer H2 SUV. Most of the car reviews are positive, rating the Hummer H2 above average in most aspects but the vehicle does fall short in mile-per-gallon and price categories. But, if you can afford the hefty price tag the low mpg is really not going to matter is it. To combat declining sales GM decided to introduce the Hummer SUT, or Sport Utility Truck version of the Hummer H2. When first introduced many auto magazines doing car reviews on the Hummer SUT ask the same question --- "is the SUT going to become a respectable seller or an oddity?"
The SUT looks a bit odd with the very small 2.9 foot-long open-air bed when compared to more traditional pick-up trucks with 6 to 8 foot-loge beds. According to several car reviews the ride is comfortable both on road and off, but due to the high center of gravity the Hummer SUT does tend to have more body lean when used off-road. Most of the car reviews agreed a big plus for the SUT is the powerful V8. Pumping out 325-horsepower, the 6.0 liter Vortec engine provides a nice throaty sound and is able to move the heavy SUT along surprisingly quickly.
A few pros for the Hummer are it's capability as an off-roader and unmistakable Hummer styling. Cons for the SUT include poor fuel economy and the SUT may be more truck than most people actually need.
